    For starters Dandelion is not just a weed. It’s a herd. During the spring the leaves can be eaten. They are beneficial for they have calcium, phosphorus, iron, potassium, vitamin A, trace amounts of some B-complex, and vitamin C. It is also high in magnesium.Chickweed is also an herb. And for the ones who might like to know they can look it up their selves

    • Correct – there are several lawn “weeds” that are actually edible and provide health benefits. For the purposes of this article, this mainly pertains to those who may not want to keep it in their lawns and landscape.
